Jersey Wooly
Jersey Woolies are a dwarf breed which should not weigh more than 3 1/2 pounds. I fell in love with this breed after a SPRCC display where a doe was there for the public to see. She was so small, so cute and kept running back over to me to be loved on. I was a little worried about all of her wool and the amount of grooming that this breed would require. I have found that they are actually very low maintenance, a good combing once a week and they're fluffy soft.I contacted the breeder about my interest in her and a few weeks later she was in my arms and I've named her Destiny. I was graciously given Bear, my black otter buck, from the same breeder a few weeks later so that I'd have a breeding pair.
